Who We Are
The Developmental Learning Center is an extension of First United Methodist Church Dallas. We pride ourselves on providing best-in-class childcare services in a nurturing environment that is rooted in faith. Our story begins with a vision to create a safe space where children can grow, learn, and explore the world around them.
Our childcare center was established with the guidance of dedicated church members who recognized the importance of early childhood education within a faith-based community. Their passion for providing a supportive and loving environment for children led to the creation of a vibrant preschool program that has since become a cornerstone of our church community.

Our limited access entry system ensures that only authorized personnel and parents can access the facilities during operating hours, providing an extra layer of security.

We have meticulously designed our indoor and outdoor play areas to prioritize safety. Our outdoor playground is equipped with age-appropriate equipment that is regularly inspected and maintained. Soft, cushioned flooring reduces the risk of injuries, allowing children to play freely while remaining safe.
Emergency Response
To further promote child safety, we have implemented detailed emergency response plans, including fire drills and lockdown procedures. Our staff members regularly undergo CPR and first aid training, ensuring they are prepared to handle any situation that may arise.
